Hey Guitar Fans,
just wanted to tell you about recent events. I had been talking recently to my buddy Preston Hudson (a mad bassist and guitar builder) about starting a band with local musicians. Just as I was reaching out to our drummer, Kevin Kilner,...BAM!!!... he got some free time.. just as we were trying to figure out who was gonna sing, I met Joe King, one of Megan Friese's students at the Friese Studio of music and wouldn't you know it but we have had a few rehearsals and they have gone extremely well.
Two things to learn from this in my view:
1. get out there and look for band mates, get jammin with some people, get to work - you won't get a band started if you are sittin at home wishin
2. always be ready for an opportunity - make sure your equipment is good to go, you have been practicing, you've got transportation and communication
We are so excited to get out there and bring the music to the fans... be on the lookout for announcements about our band coming to a local venue near you...
